We understand that life can be busy and it's not always easy to make it to in-person therapy sessions. That's why we offer teletherapy services that allow you to connect with our licensed therapists from the comfort of your own home. Our teletherapy sessions are secure, private, and convenient.

Due to the high waitlist in the state of Massachusetts especially since the pandemic, we are offering only telehealth services to accomodate more individuals. There may be an opportunity to meet in person. As an example, if you are referring your child who resides in the Northeast region of Massachusetts (Methuen, Lawrence, Haverhill, etc) then an in person session may be possible provided it is planned in advance. 

Who we are:
We are human services professionals with education and experience in a wide-range of social services fields who can be hired by defense attorneys appointed by the court to represent indigent clients across CPCS Divisions. We are expected to have a commitment to due process and client-centered representation.

What we do:
We provide strategic, litigation-focused, non-direct services to public and private defense attorneys and their clients under the Indigent Court Cost Act (ICCA). Our work can improve our clients’ chances of successful litigation.

Social work services means those services which assist an individual and their family to understand and cope with their personal problems. 

This is a "catch-all" definition to assist with any identified PROBLEM. As an example, if the individual is struggling financially and would like to have the assistance of a social worker to help problem-solve, offer resources and potentially help with processes the individual is not very familiar with. Social work services is a way "to ask a professional with 25 year experience for help to solve a problem." 

This could be considered a brief therapeutic intervention but is not therapy. If during the course of working on "the problem" the individual  may be offered short term therapy if it appears they are having difficulty "managing their stressors" effectively. 

 These evaluations are vital for individuals seeking protection under the Violence Against Women Act, providing evidence of the psychological impact of abuse and supporting the applicant’s case for relief. 

It should be noted that survivors of domestic violence/intimate partner abuse can be male or female. This is stated proactively to respect the fact that it is experienced by individuals regardless of gender.
